Xiaoping has over 18 years of global pharmaceutical R&D experience in US, China and APAC with a proven track record in bringing innovative drugs to the markets. His expertise and experience include CMC development, regulatory CMC, manufacturing, supply chain management and team & project leadership. He currently leads a team to provide CMC expertise and leadership to support new product development and marketed products in China.  

 

He has worked at Pfizer Global R&D Pharmaceutical Sciences Division in both US and China, in multiple managerial and scientific roles in technology, sourcing, regulatory, formulation, material and analytical sciences. At Cerecin in Singapore, a brain health-focused pharmaceutical company, Xiaoping served as Vice President and Head of CMC and Supply Chain, where he led the CMC development, manufacturing & supply for Phase III trial and commercialization. At MSD China R&D as Head of China CMC, he led the CMC in support of CTA, NDA and post-approval for chemical, biological and vaccine products.

 

Xiaoping received his PhD in Chemistry from University of Wisconsin-Madison, his MBA from University of Connecticut, and his BS from Tsinghua University.
