Georg is Head of Global MSAT & Engineering at Roche/Genentech TechOps based in Basel, Switzerland. Georg’s career has spanned the globe providing him operational experiences in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the US and exposing him to many different cultures. Throughout his career, Georg has been leading many continual improvement initiatives and he demonstrated leadership, creativity and collaboration in delivering multiple technology and innovation transformations.
Georg’s experience includes Site, Regional and Global Quality- and Operations- Roles such as VP, Global Head of Quality Control with Roche, Managing Director of Pharmanalytica SA in Switzerland, responsible for the full operations of the Site, and Regional Quality Head roles with Novartis in Singapore covering internal Sites and CMO portfolios across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
An Austrian national, Georg holds an MSc degree in Pharmacy, a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Innsbruck, and an Executive MBA in Supply Chain Management from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - ETH. He is also an approved EU Qualified Person.
