Professional Bio
Sarah is the Head of Innovation Domain (Applied Epigenetics) in the strategic innovation business incubator at Evonik, where she leads a scientific team to develop and manage new business opportunities. She was formerly (Acting) Deputy Director in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology Division at Enterprise, the technology transfer arm of the Agency of Science Technology & Research (A*STAR), where she developed research and innovation partnerships with corporates, managed and commercialised A*STAR intellectual property, and helped scientists spin-off companies. Prior that, she was sourcing for, assessing and negotiating business relationships and alliances with external partners to create impactful projects at L'Oréal’s Research & Innovation, as a Strategic Foresight and Business Development Manager. In her spare time, she mentors budding young entrepreneurs as part of Techstars Startup Weekend, Young Founders Summit, and Advisory Singapore.
